National Asphalt, part of the Raubex Group, is recruiting a Sales Representative for its Cliffdale Asphalt Plant in eThekwini, KwaZulu-Natal.

Main duties

  • Find new business opportunities and close sales.
  • Build customer relationships, follow up leads and explain products.
  • Meet sales targets and research market trends and competitors.
  • Prepare customer quotations and process purchase orders for externally sourced materials.

Minimum requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric and the sales experience outlined above.
  • A proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and customer relationship skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • A valid Code 08 driver’s licence and willingness to travel within KwaZulu-Natal.

A relevant qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or a related field is advantageous. General asphalt knowledge is helpful but is not compulsory.
