Eligibility requirements
Applicant requirements
- Must be aged between 18 and 28 years old.
- Matric is preferable.
- Must be available and willing to work a fixed-term 12-month contract.
- Should not have been employed permanently with a single employer continuously for more than one year.
- Should not be studying full-time in the year of employment, from April 2026 to March 2027.
- Should not have participated in or been registered on the YES programme before.
- Accommodation and transport are for the applicant’s own account, where applicable.
