What you’ll do / learn

You’ll gain practical experience in stock issuing, SAP-related warehouse work, stock counts, FIFO control, warehouse organisation, and logistics compliance.

• Assist in issuing stock items correctly and protecting quantity accuracy
• Assist in issuing stock on SAP timeously
• Ensure picking lists and goods issuing documents are signed when materials are delivered to end users
• Assist in recording stock-outs and informing responsible material coordinators
• Analyse and help close old reservations against stock issues
• Assist with daily cycle counts and ad hoc stock counts
• Pack and handle high-value stock items correctly
• Update bin locations on materials so physical locations align with the SAP system
• Assist in ensuring the right materials are kept in the correct warehouse or building
• Report missing or damaged items found in bins
• Maintain a filing system to keep documents available for audit
• Assist in maintaining FIFO to avoid stock expiry and obsolescence
• Assist in reviewing and tagging expired, broken, or unusable items
• Perform 5S activities to support cleanliness and continuous improvement
• Ensure logistics procedures and policies are followed
• Safeguard stock and maintain controlled access to warehouse buildings
• Treat internal and external customers with respect
• Maintain good relationships and teamwork with colleagues
