What this opportunity is
This is a customer-facing cashier role focused on capturing transactions accurately during customer service. The position sits within GWK Retail and combines paypoint work, cash handling, client service, and back-office support in a retail environment.
What you’ll do / learn
You’ll support day-to-day cashier and admin processes, including transaction handling, banking, and customer service. The role also includes basic loss control and daily administrative responsibilities.
- Capture transactions during customer service
- Process paypoint sales
- Provide client service
- Process receipts from customers and allocations
- Process receipts from card customers and complete back-office tasks
- Do daily banking of all cheques and cash
- Complete daily administration
- Support security and loss control

Eligibility requirements
- Grade 12 or NQF 4
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office
- Previous experience in a similar role will be an advantage
