What the Amathuba Learnership offers
The Amathuba Learnership is intended for matriculants who have no work experience and want to begin developing a career in the financial-services industry.
Learners will complete a combination of structured classroom training and workplace experience over 12 months. Successful completion leads to a Wealth Management NQF Level 4 qualification that is accredited and recognised within the financial-services sector.

Required Grade 12 subjects and results
Applicants must have achieved all the following minimum results:
- English: at least 50%.
- An official second language: at least 50%.
- Pure Mathematics: at least 50%; or
- Mathematical Literacy: at least 50%.
The Mathematics requirement can therefore be met through either Pure Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy, provided the applicant achieved at least 50%.
Applicants who do not meet the English, second-language and Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy requirements should not claim that they do. Old Mutual instructs candidates to complete the application truthfully and accurately.
Previous study and learnership participation
Applicants must not currently be studying towards another qualification at another educational institution.
