What this opportunity is

This learnership is designed for unemployed youth who want both formal training and real workplace exposure in short-term insurance. What you’ll do / learn

You’ll gain practical short-term insurance experience while completing the learnership programme. Momentum states that successful participants will develop job-ready skills and receive the FETC: Short-Term Insurance, NQF Level 4 qualification at the end of the programme.

  • Gain industry-specific work experience in short-term insurance.
  • Complete a learnership programme running from 26 March 2026 to 31 March 2027.

Eligibility requirements

  • Must be 18–25 years old (including turning 25 in 2025).
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
  • Must have passed Matric, with 50% or above for English required.
  • Mathematics is beneficial.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must be currently unemployed and/or have no work experience.
  • Must not be studying at another institution or hold post-Matric qualifications.
  • Must not be registered for another learnership.
  • Must have a genuine interest in short-term insurance and a passion for learning.
  • Must have a clear criminal and credit record.
