What you’ll do / learn

You’ll gain practical exposure to process engineering support, manufacturing documentation, industrialisation, BOM and master data control, and continuous improvement work in an automotive plant environment.

• Participate in reviewing process FMEAs
• Participate in reviewing process flow diagrams
• Participate in SREA submissions
• Maintain manufacturing process documents for newly implemented machines
• Support continuous improvement and production through the process specialist network
• Maintain BOM and master data in line with cycle time, takt time, and standard operations
• Release manufacturing process documents and process flowcharts
• Support industrialisation trials and Run-at-Rate activities
• Participate in plant layout updates
• Support process productivity analysis, improvement action plans, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
• Help ensure FES and HSE standards and processes are followed at all times

Essential requirements

• National Diploma equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
• Must be between 18 and 35 years of age
• Must not have previously participated in the Y.E.S Youth Program
• Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English
• Experience on computer systems
• Excellent people and teamwork skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a matrix organisation
• Knowledge of productivity and Lean Management methodologies
