What this opportunity is
The Menlyn Sales Assistant role focuses on helping customers find the right products, driving sales through customer-selling techniques, and meeting personal targets consistently. You’ll also support store standards by maintaining housekeeping and visual merchandising while following stock-loss controls.
What you’ll do / learn
You’ll spend your shifts on the retail floor supporting customers, improving selling confidence, and contributing to store performance through consistent service and strong store standards.
- Exceed customer expectations by using customer selling techniques
- Meet individual targets consistently and identify opportunities to increase turnover
- Follow stock-loss controls in store
- Maintain housekeeping and uphold visual merchandising standards to support sales
- Help create an inspiring in-store environment for customers

Eligibility requirements
- At least 6 months retail experience
- Matric or equivalent
- Clear criminal record
- Microsoft / computer proficiency
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge of current clothing trends/outdoor lifestyle (depending on the brand range)
