What this opportunity is
This internship supports the management and control of dealership vehicle stock. The role includes assisting with vehicle stock counts, vehicle invoicing, issuing vehicle permits, tracking vehicle movements, and keeping inventory records accurate on the dealership management system. It also gives exposure to vehicle administration, stock control, and dealership finance processes.
What you’ll do / learn
You’ll help keep vehicle stock records accurate, reconcile physical stock to system records, and support internal teams with stock and inventory admin.
- Maintain accurate records of new and used vehicle stock on the dealership management system
- Conduct regular vehicle stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records
- Monitor stock movements (vehicles received, sold, or transferred) and record movements accurately
- Report discrepancies between system stock and physical vehicles to the Accountant
- Maintain proper documentation for vehicles in stock and support permits/invoicing admin
- Support internal customers (technicians, service advisors, workshop staff) and assist the Finance team with inventory admin
- Follow governance, compliance, and inventory control processes
- Participate in workplace learning and build knowledge of dealership systems, stock control and financial administration

Eligibility requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Diploma or Certificate in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Logistics
- 0–1 year experience in administration, finance support, or stock control (advantageous)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail, record-keeping, and numerical/admin ability
- Good written and verbal communication skills, integrity and accountability
