What this opportunity is
This is an HR support internship focused on employee wellness and the administration of HR-related events. The role is designed to support the coordination of wellness programmes, campaigns, reporting, service-provider liaison, and related administrative processes.
What you’ll do / learn
You’ll gain practical exposure to HR administration, employee wellness coordination, reporting, and event support in a corporate environment. The role combines day-to-day admin work with programme coordination and compliance-related support.
- Assist with the coordination and administration of employee wellness programmes and HR events
- Support wellness initiatives, campaigns, sport, and awareness events
- Assist with data capturing, reporting, and record-keeping
- Liaise with internal and external wellness service providers
- Book flights and accommodation
- Assist with loading purchase requisitions and following the payment process
- Work in line with applicable legislation, company policies, and ISO-related compliance requirements

Eligibility requirements
- NQF 5 in Human Resources or another relevant qualification
- Passion for events and employee engagement
- Full computer literacy across MS Office packages
- Basic understanding of health promotion principles
- Project coordination skills
- Ability to work on weekends and after hours
- Excellent communication skills and high professionalism
- Good planning, time management, and organisational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Valid driver’s licence with driving experience
