Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company and statutory hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Support the preparation of meals, including salads and desserts.
• Place food items (entrees, salads, desserts, etc.) on the serving line.
• Keep the serving line stocked and clean.
• Assist in training new employees where required.
• Record and store food leftovers.
• Maintain cleanliness of canteen tables, kitchen, and service areas.
• Count and hand over stock for the next shift where applicable.
• Provide a high level of customer service within the area of responsibility.
• Address customer and client complaints or compliments.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as needed.
• Perform additional related tasks as assigned.

• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work quickly and safely.
• Good personal hygiene and free from food/detergent allergies.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork ability.
• Stamina to work 45–50 hours per week.
• Physically able to bend, stand, and lift.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Completed Matric / Senior Certificate.
