What you’ll do / learn
You’ll gain practical exposure to workplace cleaning routines, hygiene standards, waste handling, equipment care, and site housekeeping in a commercial environment.
- Clean toilets, equipment, offices, state property, and assets properly
- Use cleaning materials and equipment effectively
- Clean reception areas and offices daily
- Empty office dustbins daily and dispose of refuse correctly
- Collect paper waste in marked bins for recycling collection
- Check bathrooms twice a day and clean as needed
- Dust office furniture regularly
- Vacuum carpets at least twice per week
- Clean windows on the inside on a rotational basis
- Store all cleaning equipment and products neatly in designated cupboards
- Assist with preparing meetings in the boardroom
