What you’ll do / learn

The successful applicant will support Legal Compliance Specialists with monitoring, research, reporting and regulatory updates.

  • Facilitate legal compliance related to the National Credit Act.
  • Support compliance work linked to Financial Intelligence legislation.
  • Assist with Consumer Protection Act compliance.
  • Support financial services-related legal compliance.
  • Assist with legal compliance work for Rest of Africa operations.
  • Draft summaries of regulatory changes and their impact on the business.
  • Conduct legal compliance monitoring under guidance.
  • Support physical and automated compliance monitoring.
  • Assist with reporting related to credit, financial services, financial intelligence and privacy legislation.
  • Attend clarification meetings with the business regarding monitoring findings.
  • Select monitoring samples.
  • Interrogate automated monitoring results as part of first-line monitoring.
  • Conduct legal research and news scanning for regulatory monitoring.
