What this opportunity is

This is a learnership-linked opportunity for persons with disabilities, designed to provide practical administrative, project coordination, and document-management support across skills development and HR-related programmes. Learners are enrolled in a learnership at NQF Level 4 or 5 while gaining workplace exposure in a structured corporate environment.

What you’ll do / learn

You’ll support programme administration, project coordination, reporting, and document control across training, talent, skills development, and employee wellbeing activities. The role is built around practical support work that helps learners develop organisation, accuracy, and coordination skills.

  • Assist with administration, logistics, and continuous improvement of programmes
  • Support internal project coordination initiatives
  • Conduct data integrity checks and quality assurance on programme documentation
  • Track, monitor, and generate reports on skills development programmes
  • Help maintain service provider records, invoices, attendance registers, logbooks, and related documents
  • Provide administrative support for employee wellbeing projects
  • Support ad hoc projects in training, talent, and skills development
  • Assist with tracking academic progress and related costs for bursary or skills-development learners
  • Help plan, organise, and prepare scopes of work, scheduling, and communication for projects and programmes
  • Perform other job-related duties as required

Eligibility requirements

  • Grade 12
  • 1–2 years’ proven experience in an administrative role
  • Knowledge of POPIA in South Africa
  • Disability confirmation letter (must be submitted with the application)
  • Computer literacy in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent document management and accuracy
  • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information
  • High attention to detail and ability to conduct quality checks
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
