Minimum requirements

• Matric or an equivalent qualification.
• A valid, unendorsed Code 8 driving licence.
• Basic computer skills.
• Effective spoken and written English.
• Physical fitness for manual work.

Previous workshop, tyre-fitment or wheel-repair experience is advantageous, not compulsory.

Main duties and skills

• Help remove and refit rims and tyres.
• Move rims, tyres and hubcaps to repair and spray stations.
• Clean work areas and keep pathways unobstructed.
• Handle components, tools and equipment carefully.

Candidates should follow instructions, meet deadlines, work independently and with colleagues, and demonstrate reliability, punctuality and responsibility.

Working conditions

Expect frequent standing, bending, lifting and carrying. Workshop exposure includes dust, paint fumes, chemicals, noise and equipment; appropriate PPE is provided. Overtime, weekends or shifts may be required.
