- Age between 18 and 35.
- Successful completion of Grade 12.
- Valid proof of a bank account.
- SARS registration and a tax reference document.
- Interest in manufacturing and a positive attitude towards learning and development.
What the learnership involves
Learners must attend theoretical, practical and workplace training, complete assignments, projects and assessments, follow company standards, and attend the scheduled final external summative assessment. The certificate depends on successful programme completion.
When preparing your application, explain why you want to learn in a production environment. Use real examples of completing tasks carefully, following instructions or working with others; school projects and voluntary activities can help demonstrate these qualities.
Shifts and selection requirements
Applicants must be willing to work shifts and undergo aptitude assessments. Successful candidates must complete a medical examination and drug screening. Appointments follow the employer’s diversity targets.
Before accepting an offer, ask about shift times, training attendance and transport arrangements. Plan how you would reach the workplace and return home for each shift.
