What you’ll do / learn

  • Carry out fault diagnosis to support and speed up vehicle servicing.
  • Use diagnostic equipment during vehicle examinations.
  • Follow OEM procedures and policies during repairs.
  • Ensure faults are diagnosed accurately and explained clearly where required.
  • Discuss repair matters with Service Advisors when needed.
  • Co-operate in vehicle care and safety while working with vehicles.
  • Help limit comebacks by supporting quality repairs and correct diagnosis.
  • Attend breakdown calls as and when required.
  • Ensure vehicles are returned to customers in a neat and clean condition after service.
  • Sign for parts from the parts department and use them on the correct vehicle.
  • Return unused parts to the parts department.
  • Complete job cards, forms, documentation and reports as required.
  • Keep overalls and the work area clean and tidy.
  • Attend training courses provided by Motus and the OEM.
  • Assist with other reasonable duties when required.
