What you’ll do / learn

The successful applicant will support reporting, performance tracking, research and stakeholder communication within the insights function.

  • Contribute to regular reporting cycles, including monthly and quarterly reviews.
  • Assist in tracking core performance metrics such as market share, brand performance and innovation performance.
  • Conduct desktop research on consumer trends, competitor activity and category dynamics.
  • Support the identification of patterns, trends and emerging insight opportunities.
  • Assist in translating data into practical business learnings and recommendations.
  • Prepare materials for stakeholder engagements, including pre-reads, summaries and presentations.
  • Help communicate insights clearly for different audiences.
  • Support the development of charts and simple dashboards.
  • Prepare insight summaries and one-page reports.
  • Assist with presentations and storytelling materials.
  • Support quantitative and qualitative market research projects.
  • Contribute input into questionnaire and discussion guide development.
  • Assist with supplier coordination and fieldwork management.
  • Learn how insights inform brand strategy, innovation, campaign development and communication planning.

Qualification requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce (BCom) or Science (BSc).
  • A postgraduate qualification will be advantageous.
