Premier – Loader

Before bread reaches store shelves, the despatch team has to make sure every truck is loaded correctly, on time and with the right stock. Premier is recruiting a Loader at its BRB Watloo site in Gauteng, and this permanent role is suited to applicants with Grade 12 or equivalent and at least 3 months of similar FMCG experience who can support bread loading, stock rotation, tray counts and daily despatch operations.

What you’ll do / learn

The successful applicant will support bread loading, stock control and despatch activities.

• Load bread according to the picking slip.
• Manage stock through transfers and GRVs.
• Count trays and balance trays in trucks.
• Attend daily invocoms.
• Ensure that quality bread is loaded.
• Apply correct stock rotation using FIFO principles.
• Account for all stock received and dispatched.
• Provide daily reports.
• Support on-time truck departures.
• Assist with queries.
• Relieve Despatch Clerks when required.
• Make invocom presentations when required.

• At least 3 months’ experience in a similar position in the FMCG industry.
