What you’ll do / learn
You’ll gain practical workplace experience in branch operations, customer service, client follow-up, and service process support while working in a customer-facing environment.
- Deliver a positive and professional client service experience to branch customers
- Manage client inquiries at branches and document activities and outcomes
- Escalate customer complaints or complex queries to supervisors and branch managers in a timely manner
- Provide clients with technical assistance on products and services offered by AVBOB Member Value
- Build positive client relations by checking in regularly and following up on active processes
- Maintain client records and document processes accurately
- Use post-service surveys to identify potential client service concerns and support proactive intervention
- Monitor emerging trends in client services and help the team respond to them
- Recommend product improvements based on client service feedback

- Unemployed South African graduates between the ages of 18 – 35
- Financial Degree, or
- Accounting / Economics Degree, or
- BSc Information Systems, or
- Marketing Management Degree, or
- Business Administration Degree
- Only suitably qualified applicants who have not previously served as interns will be considered
- Data analytics skills
- Sales experience is advantageous
- Customer service experience is advantageous
- Problem-solving ability
- Resilient and able to work under pressure
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
