What this opportunity is
This is a cashier and finance support role at Man Truck & Bus JHB. The position supports day-to-day cash handling, invoicing, receipt processing, banking, filing and related administration, while also requiring strong customer service and accuracy in handling financial records.

What you’ll do / learn
You’ll support core cashiering and finance administration tasks in a dealership environment, while building practical experience in customer invoicing, banking controls and record-keeping.
- Process invoices and receipts
- Handle the customer invoicing process
- Bank money received
- Record receipts accurately
- Process daily bank statements
- Complete general cashier administration
- Prepare sundry reports for the Finance Manager
- File all documentation
- Carry out ad hoc administration duties when required
- Write up receipts accurately
- Ensure all receipts tally correctly for banking
- Bank previous day’s takings, credit card receipts, internet receipts and related payments
- Ensure compliance with KYC and other required policies
Eligibility requirements

- Minimum qualification: Grade 12
- Record checks: Clear credit record and clear criminal record
- Experience: Previous cashier experience will be an advantage
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills
- Work style: Customer orientation and team orientation
- Computer skills: Computer literacy
- Advantageous systems knowledge: Kerridge and Excel
