What this opportunity is

This learnership combines classroom/theoretical learning with hands-on experience in warehouse and stores operations (stock handling, distribution processes and warehouse procedures).

Eligibility requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Minimum 50% in English (essential).
  • Minimum 50% in Mathematics OR 60% in Maths Lit (essential).
  • Able to communicate in English (read, write and speak).
  • Age 18–28.
  • Available and committed to complete a full year (12 months) of training.
  • Required to work a 3-shift system.
  • Must reside in Bellville, Cape Town or surrounding areas.

What you’ll do / learn

  • General practical tasks in the warehouse department.
  • Customer service and supporting warehouse operations.
  • Loading and offloading material.
  • Understand operational and distribution workflows.
  • Attend training sessions, complete assignments and maintain a portfolio of evidence.
  • Follow workplace policies, procedures and code of conduct.
