What this opportunity is

This is a 12-month learnership that combines classroom/theoretical learning with practical workplace exposure in an administration department. The focus is on building entry-level office and records skills for an admin support role.

Eligibility requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Minimum 50% in English (essential).
  • Minimum 50% in Mathematics OR 60% in Mathematical Literacy (essential).
  • Able to communicate in English (read, write and speak).
  • Age 18–28.
  • Must reside in Bellville, Cape Town or surrounding areas.
  • Available and committed to complete a full year (12 months) of training.

What you’ll do / learn

  • Accurate data capturing and general office admin duties.
  • Attend theoretical training sessions and practical workplace training as scheduled.
  • Complete learning activities, assignments and required workplace tasks.
  • Basic bookkeeping tasks (as assigned).
  • Use MS Excel, Word and Outlook for day-to-day admin support.
  • Scan, file and manage records according to company procedures.
  • Maintain a portfolio of evidence demonstrating competence.
