• Key Exposure:
  • Cross-training in sales floor and service desk operations
  • Practical experience in customer engagement, stock management, and point-of-sale processes
  • Development of core retail skills aligned to Truworths’ merchandising and service standards

Key Responsibilities

• Complete a minimum of 120 learnership hours
• Acquire and apply product and process knowledge to support customers
• Prepare thoroughly for all scheduled assessments and logbook submissions
• Assist customers in locating and selecting merchandise
• Merchandize the store according to Truworths’ MBP principles
• Process payments and manage purchases on the POS system
• Open new customer accounts and maintain accurate records
• Monitor and control stock losses through vigilant stock handling
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships
• Uphold customer security and safety protocols at all times

Eligibility & Requirements

• Education: Grade 10 (Matric not required for this entry-level learnership)
