Job Description and Responsibilities

As a successful candidate, you will report to the Agricultural Training Manager and be responsible for the following:

• Providing support to the Agricultural Training Department, specifically focusing on the Junior Certificate Course (JCC) in Sugarcane Agriculture and Plant Production Learnership.
• Assisting with the training of approximately 180 learners annually from across the sugar industry.
• Engaging in theoretical training at the Mount Edgecombe campus and workplace learning at various farms as part of the Plant Production Learnership.
• Offering administrative support for various courses as assigned by the Agricultural Training Manager.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this learnership opportunity, you should meet the following requirements:

Education and Experience

• National Diploma in Agriculture or a related qualification.
• Completed Junior Certificate course in Sugarcane Agriculture (advantageous).

Knowledge and Skills

• Fluent in IsiZulu and English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (computer literacy).
• Possession of a driver’s license would be advantageous.
