The South African Sugar Association (SASA) is offering a 9-month contract for a Learner/Intern position at their prestigious Shukela Training Centre (STC) in Mount Edgecombe, KwaZulu Natal.

Job Description and Responsibilities
As a successful candidate, you will report to the Agricultural Training Manager and be responsible for the following:
- Providing support to the Agricultural Training Department, specifically focusing on the Junior Certificate Course (JCC) in Sugarcane Agriculture and Plant Production Learnership.
- Assisting with the training of approximately 180 learners annually from across the sugar industry.
- Engaging in theoretical training at the Mount Edgecombe campus and workplace learning at various farms as part of the Plant Production Learnership.
- Offering administrative support for various courses as assigned by the Agricultural Training Manager.

Education and Experience
- National Diploma in Agriculture or a related qualification.
- Completed Junior Certificate course in Sugarcane Agriculture (advantageous).
Knowledge and Skills
- Fluent in IsiZulu and English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (computer literacy).
- Possession of a driver’s license would be advantageous.
