Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured, outcome-based learnership focused on steel manufacturing process operations.
- Complete institutional training and workplace (on-the-job) training requirements in line with the Learner’s Agreement.
- Take part in regular assessments, progress reviews, and monitoring activities throughout the programme.
- Adhere to site rules, safety standards, and PPE requirements as applicable to the training environment.
- Maintain accurate engagement with training schedules and submit required learning evidence/documentation when requested.

- Willingness to learn, be assessed, and develop technical competence over an extended programme period.
- Reliable, disciplined, and able to follow procedures and instructions.
- Comfortable working in structured training environments with performance monitoring and deadlines.
- Responsive and organised in communication (including managing application steps and email updates).
Eligibility Criteria
- Grade 12 (Matric) completed with at least the following minimum results:
- English: 45%
- Mathematics: 40% OR Mathematics Literacy: 50%
- Successful candidates will be subject to a medical examination.
- Preference will be given to applicants regarded as South African youth (under 35), as indicated in the listing.
