- Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a brand ambassador by advising customers on products and prices
- Provide product demonstrations and assist customers in selecting beauty and skincare items
- Promote and sell a diverse range of beauty products, ensuring shelves are well-presented and up to date
- Exceed customer expectations through exceptional service and effective merchandising
- Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for new sales
- Handle customer queries and escalate issues to management as needed
Eligibility Criteria
- Must have a Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
- Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups in accordance with the Employment Equity Act
Required Skills
- Passion for beauty and skincare with a strong selling instinct
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- High attention to detail and strong customer service orientation
- Proven ability to build customer loyalty, navigate customer challenges, and drive sales
- Experience in retail, particularly in beauty and skincare, is essential (minimum 5 months of point of sale/till experience)
- Bilingual capability, preferably fluent in both Afrikaans and English
