Metropolitan – Sales Learnerships (Northern Cape, Cape Town, Boland)

It is designed to develop theoretical knowledge and practical skills through a combination of classroom instruction and on-the-job training, preparing participants for a career in sales within the financial services sector.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must hold a Matric certificate or an NQF 4 qualification
  • Must have successfully completed Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy with a minimum score of 40%
  • Must have passed both English and one other South African language with at least 40%
  • Must be proficient in using computer systems and digital tools

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in computer applications

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Process:
    • Participate actively in classroom sessions and practical training
    • Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s products, policies, and procedures
    • Maintain detailed logbooks and compile evidence for SETA assessments
  • Client:
    • Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
    • Provide recommendations to enhance service quality and manage client queries
  • People:
    • Foster positive relationships within the team and support change initiatives
    • Encourage a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
  • Finance:
    • Identify solutions to improve cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency
    • Escalate compliance issues and participate in risk management processes
