Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment: Post requisitions on Engage, screen candidates, schedule interviews, manage confirmations, conduct/reference checks, assist at careers events.
  • Onboarding & Employee Files: Support orientations, create and maintain personnel files aligned to compliance requirements.
  • Payroll Administration: Prepare weekly wages for approval; compile timesheets, overtime, shift and transport allowances; update temporary contract sheets.
  • Training & Development: Source accredited providers, maintain training records and registers, coordinate room setup and attendance, schedule sessions and track certifications.
  • General HR Admin: Support wellness initiatives, raise SAP purchase orders, filing, and contribute to HR policy/procedure inputs.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Diploma/Degree in HR or Business Administration (or currently studying toward a relevant qualification)
  • Computer literacy: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Preference may be given in line with Employment Equity objectives
