The successful candidate will work under the Regional Services Co-Ordinator and play a key role in facilitating community initiatives and providing input into policy development.

- Remuneration: R218,077.44 – R283,086.84 per annum, plus a 13th cheque
- Additional Benefits: Housing subsidy, medical aid, pension fund, and leave benefits
- Special Conditions: Must be willing to work after hours and over the weekend
Eligibility Criteria
- Must have a Grade 12 certificate (NQF Level 4) or equivalent
- Must possess a valid motor vehicle driving license
- Minimum of 1 year relevant experience is required
- Preferred: Higher Certificate in Public Management or Public Participation, with 2 years’ experience in community initiatives

Duties & Responsibilities
- Implement community development programmes and projects
- Facilitate activities for various community development forums within the eThekwini Municipal area
- Contribute to the development of Community Development Policy
- Assist in establishing local community development initiatives
- Execute identified projects as outlined in the business plan
- Provide regular progress reports to the Regional Services Co-Ordinator and update them on agreed plans
