Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and confirm appointments to optimise clinic workflow and reduce wait times.
  • Maintain, update, organise, and secure medical files for quick and accurate access.
  • Manage waiting areas and support patient flow.
  • Liaise between patients, clinic staff, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication.
  • Monitor and manage clinic supplies (stock/consumables), procurement, and inventory control.
  • Support clinic compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, standards, and SLAs.
  • Assist nurses/medical personnel with administrative duties and documentation.
  • Handle patient queries, resolve complaints, and provide information on services and procedures.
  • Compile and submit operational reports to management.
  • Order stationery and coordinate administrative supplies.
  • Coordinate calibration, maintenance, and repairs of clinical equipment.
  • Manage medical waste collection and disposal processes.
  • Support administration linked to incapacity support, case management, and return-to-work coordination.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Matric / Senior Certificate (required).
  • At least 1 year experience in an administrative role (required).
