Key Responsibilities

• Conducting quality tests on products and packaging
• Compiling reports and identifying any deviations from quality standards
• Supporting audit and compliance processes
• Applying scientific knowledge to ensure quality and safety in a manufacturing environment

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a South African citizen between the ages of 18–35
• Unemployed at the time of appointment
• Completed Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science (minimum 40%)
• Passed two South African languages with at least 40%
• Studying toward a qualification in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Technology, or a related field
• Completed theoretical modules and require in-service training to graduate
• Must not have previously participated in an in-service training programme
• Must provide a letter from their institution confirming the need for workplace expe
