Programme Offerings
- Programme Type: Artisan Learnership
- Duration: 12 months (fixed term as per learnership programme)
- Location: Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa
- Key Exposure:
- Gain comprehensive knowledge, practical skills, and work-based experience in your chosen trade
- Learn through a blend of classroom instruction, on-the-job training, and assessments
- Opportunities available in the following trades:
- Diesel Mechanic
- Boilermaker
- Millwright
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a South African citizen, targeted at unemployed youth
- Must have successfully completed Grade 12 with Core Mathematics and Physical Science or Technical Matric (trade-related theory) OR Grade 12 with N3 Mathematics and N3 Engineering Science
- A valid South African Driver’s Licence is advantageous
- Applicants must not be registered on any active learnership or apprenticeship programme funded by a SETA or privately
- Applicants who have previously participated in a learnership or apprenticeship programme will not be considered

- Ability to follow structured training and complete assessments
- Strong work ethic, commitment to learning, and readiness to engage in practical trade work
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

- Certified copies (not older than 3 months) of all qualifications (only complete academic certificates will be accepted)
- Copy of your South African Identity Document
- Copy of your South African Driver’s Licence
