Premier FMCG is recruiting a Call Centre Agent on a permanent basis for its Premier Meadowview Depot (Site 354) in Lords View, Gauteng. The role focuses on inbound call handling, telesales order solicitation, and resolving customer queries and complaints, while ensuring accurate order capture and adherence to call centre operating standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls and provide professional customer service with a focus on first-call resolution.
- Contact current and potential customers (formal and informal trade) to solicit sales orders.
- Respond to customer queries and complaints using appropriate telephone and email etiquette.
- Capture customer and order information accurately on relevant systems daily.
- Maintain 100% adherence to operating guidelines and standard procedures (quality, accuracy, behaviour).
- Perform daily order schedule maintenance, including customer price checks and obtaining authorisation numbers from buying groups.
- Verify order entries against customer orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support other departments with order specifications, special requirements, and additional customer needs.
- Participate in cross-training across departmental areas (including HPC and Milling), including handling free stock orders where applicable.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient end-to-end order processing.
- Ensure calls are answered within allocated timeframes in line with standard processes.

Eligibility Criteria
- Matric Certificate (essential).
- Relevant sales qualification (advantageous).
- 1–2 years experience dealing with customers (essential).
- 1–2 years experience in an FMCG environment (desirable).
- 1–2 years exposure to call centre / telesales (desirable).
- 1–2 years experience working with Excel (desirable).
- Desirable knowledge: basic call centre SOPs; understanding of FMCG manufacturing (GP 2010).
