Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be unemployed
  • Must hold a qualification equal to or not lower than Grade 9
  • Must have a passion for agriculture and plant production
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments under varying physical conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with various plant production activities under the guidance of experienced professionals
  • Participate in crop management tasks including planting, irrigation, and harvesting
  • Learn about soil preparation, fertilisation, and pest control techniques
  • Gain hands-on experience in nursery management, plant propagation, and cultivation
  • Operate basic plant production equipment as required
  • Follow safety and environmental protocols during all tasks
  • Complete practical assignments and tasks as part of the learnership programme
