Safripol (Sasolburg) is recruiting a Supply Chain Experiential Learner on a temporary learnership basis. The role is designed to give you practical exposure across the full supply chain value chain (planning, procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics, SAP, and data analysis), while supporting projects for each functional area and identifying operational gaps and improvements.

Safripol is a South African polymer manufacturer with operations in Sasolburg, producing and supplying polypropylene (PP) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) for industrial and consumer applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Support raw materials and production planning, including production confirmations and production data recording (HDPE & PP).
- Maintain SAP planned production orders and process goods receipts for raw/packaging materials in SAP.
- Report on utility usage and assist with stock counts and reconciliations to confirm raw material usage.
- Manage raw materials in rebate and bond stores in line with SARS requirements and control tanker flow.
- Support purchasing/procurement activities: RFQs, placing orders, expediting, supplier interaction, and master data checks.
- Monitor supplier quality compliance (e.g., COA adherence) and maintain inventory levels to meet production needs.
- Assist with forecasting, balancing supply and demand, and supporting export processes for finished product.
- Provide support in engineering stores: receiving, issuing, storage, cycle counting, end-user support, and inventory analysis.
- Assist with MRP processes, expediting requisitions, and master data analysis/corrections.
- Support warehousing and logistics: warehouse/logistics management, stock management, balancing, and data analysis.
- Complete projects as directed by functional leaders and contribute to practical improvement initiatives.

- Motivated self-starter with initiative and strong technical capability.
- Good interpersonal effectiveness and ability to work across multiple internal stakeholders.
- High level of computer literacy (strong SAP/data accuracy mindset is beneficial).
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a structured, compliance-driven environment.
Eligibility Criteria
- Supply Chain Management Degree (required).
- CPIM designation
- Able to work on-site in Sasolburg, Free State
