Eligibility Criteria

  • Diploma in Chemical Engineering and/or Pulp & Paper Technology
  • Minimum 60% average pass rate
  • Completion of P1 & P2 practical work in a heavy industry (advantageous)
  • Valid South African driver’s license

Key Deliverables

  • Navigate basic systems in SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Apply chemical safety knowledge
  • Assist with plant start-ups/shut-downs, housekeeping, and pre-start checks
  • Conduct routine operational checks to reduce equipment failures
  • Operate within Mondi’s safety and quality compliance standards
  • Participate in basic troubleshooting and report equipment performance
