Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & General Tasks: Clean the warehouse, wrap and sort products, assist with picking/packing, and operate equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts (if licensed).
Loading & Stock Handling: Follow standard procedures when loading, stack and wrap items safely, remove poor-quality stock, and help with unpacking.
Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness in all areas, store cleaning tools properly, ensure clear walkways, and remove unused pallets.
Stock Count Support: Prepare for stock takes, isolate damaged goods, and help with daily stock counts and discrepancy reporting.
Timekeeping & Safety: Arrive and leave on time, minimize overtime, follow health and safety rules, and keep work areas glass-free.
Teamwork & Self-Management: Take responsibility for tasks, prioritize effectively, communicate issues, and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Physically fit and of sober habits
- 1 year experience in warehousing or similar environment (advantageous)
Skills & Competencies
- Strong attention to detail
- Team player with a proactive attitude
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
