The successful candidate will ensure that patients receive the correct meals according to doctor and patient instructions while upholding the highest standards of hygiene, service, and food safety within a healthcare catering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure patients receive meals accurately as per doctor and patient instructions.
• Complete and collect menu cards daily.
• Maintain clean water carafes and ensure sufficient ice water is provided throughout the day.
• Deliver timely tea service and assist with meal preparation (salads and desserts).
• Maintain Tsebo and hospital hygiene, safety, and operational standards.
• Provide courteous, professional, and empathetic service to patients at all times.
• Ensure all health, food safety, and customer service standards are consistently met.
• Assist in general catering tasks and maintain cleanliness in the service area.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum Qualification: Matric (Grade 12).
• Experience: Prior experience in healthcare catering or hospitality is advantageous.
• Requirements:
  • Must be free from food and detergent allergies.
  • Able to work 45–50 hours per week.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends or public holidays if required.
