Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with meal preparation, especially salads and desserts
  • Maintain cleanliness of serving lines and keep them well-stocked
  • Serve food and operate the cash register as needed
  • Ensure canteen tables, kitchen, and workspaces are clean and orderly
  • Comply with company and statutory hygiene regulations
  • Support training of new employees where required
  • Store and record food leftovers
  • Maintain a high level of customer service
  • Report and, where possible, act on customer feedback
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions
  • Perform related duties as assigned

Skills and Competencies

  • Enjoy hands-on, practical work
  • Honest, reliable, and able to work quickly and safely
  • Good personal hygiene and communication skills
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Physically fit to bend, stand, lift, and work 45–50 hours per week
  • Free from food and detergent-related skin allergies
  • Good hand-eye coordination

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have completed at least a National Senior Certificate
