Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with company and statutory hygiene regulations.
- Assist with preparing meals, including salads and desserts.
- Place food items on the serving line and ensure the area remains clean and well-stocked.
- Maintain cleanliness of canteen tables, kitchen spaces, and service areas.
- Store and record leftover food appropriately.
- Provide customer service in line with contract requirements.
- Assist in training new employees where required.
- Count and hand over stock to the next shift when applicable.
- Report and respond to customer or client queries or complaints.
- Attend required meetings and training sessions.
- Perform additional related tasks as assigned by management.
Attributes Required
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Understanding of hygiene and safety requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Eligibility Criteria
- Completed National Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent.
- Previous experience in cleaning, hospitality, or a similar environment is advantageous.
