Key Responsibilities

  • Comply with company and statutory hygiene and cleanliness regulations.
  • Assist in preparing meals, especially salads and desserts.
  • Serve meals and maintain a clean, well-stocked serving line.
  • Keep canteen tables, kitchen, and service areas clean and orderly.
  • Store and record leftover food according to policy.
  • Support new employee training where required.
  • Provide high-quality customer service and respond to complaints or compliments.
  • Count and hand over stock to staff on the next shift.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned, including night shifts.

  • Trustworthy, reliable, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work quickly, safely, and as part of a team.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and excellent personal hygiene.
  • Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Must enjoy practical, methodical work and have no skin allergies to food or detergents.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Culinary qualification will be an advantage.
