Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily operational tasks as assigned for specific equipment or cargo.
  • Handle and manage commodities according to terminal requirements.
  • Complete logbooks and record all operational or equipment defects.
  • Maintain radio communication and report incidents or accidents promptly.
  • Monitor equipment performance and ensure safety compliance at all times.
  • Operate within the Terminal Operating System (Navis) and follow on-screen directives.
  • Adhere strictly to all terminal safety rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Use safety equipment such as fire extinguishers where required.

  • Ethical, safety-conscious, and punctual.
  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with sound judgement.
  • Physically capable of performing operational duties in an industrial environment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum Qualification: Grade 12 / Matric.
  • Advantageous: TVET N6 in Logistics or Transport.
  • Age Requirement: Between 18 and 35 years.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Basic computer literacy.
    • Good communication and literacy skills.
    • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.
