Solenis is seeking a General Worker for Packout operations at its Kempton Park facility in South Africa. This full-time role involves supporting the packaging process by cleaning equipment, reworking products into plant and performing various process-related tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all quality standards are met and deviations are reported, maintaining a clean and organised work area, and assisting with troubleshooting and maintenance preparations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the packaging process including equipment cleaning and reworking of products into plant or requested SKUs
  • Reject any deviations in packaging materials and report quality defects
  • Check that video jets are operational, ensure correct batch number printing, and report deviations to the robot operator
  • Perform process-related tasks to minimise delays and assist on the 8/10 kg bucket and 25/50 kg line

  • Troubleshoot issues on all packaging lines and report findings to the robot operator
  • Maintain accountability for housekeeping in the work area, following 5S principles
  • Prepare process equipment for maintenance and assist maintenance personnel
  • Strictly adhere to EHS and Quality standards, reporting all accidents, incidents, or unsafe conditions
  • Participate in safety EH&S meetings and perform ad hoc duties during shutdowns as directed

  • Willingness to follow all safety protocols and use protective equipment as required
