Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer payments and balance POS transactions accurately
- Assist customers by recommending suitable products based on their needs
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and promotions
- Replenish stock and ensure shelves are neat and well-organized
- Conduct price audits and correct discrepancies
- Maintain visual merchandising and housekeeping standards
- Handle and escalate customer queries appropriately
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
Experience:
- At least 5 months’ experience at a till point in a retail setting
- Sales floor experience and a proven retail sales record
Skills & Competencies
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Solid understanding of payment procedures (cash, cards, coupons, vouchers, etc.)
- Bilingual – fluency in Afrikaans and English preferred
- Computer literacy and product knowledge
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
