Road Traffic Law Enforcement Learnership Programme

The North West Department of Community Safety and Transport Management has invited applications for a Traffic Officers Diploma Learnership Programme.

It aims to capacitate unemployed youth with knowledge and skills in traffic law enforcement.

Learnership Programme Requirements

  • Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 35.
  • A Grade 12 certificate/National Certificate (vocational)
  • Security clearance from SAPS.
  • Must provide a medical report indicating that the applicant is fit to do strenuous exercise/training.
  • A valid driver’s licence.
  • No visible tattoos.
  • Stipend: R3000 P/M

Details of the Learnership Programme

  • The learnership programme seeks to provide unemployed youth with valuable knowledge and skills in Traffic Law Enforcement.
  • Learners will receive a stipend of R3000 per month.
  • The programme requires a valid driver’s licence and a medical report indicating that the applicant is fit to do strenuous exercise/training.
  • No visible tattoos are permitted.
  • Applications must be submitted with signed Z83, a recent updated comprehensive CV with names of three referees, originally certified copies of Grade 12, ID-document, Driving License, and Security Clearance from SAPS.
  • All qualifications will be verified.
