The Artisan Bridge Learner Program
As an artisan bridge learner, you will receive training and on-the-job experience in rebuilding and maintaining mining machines.
This program aims to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the mining industry.
Key Responsibilities
As a participant in the program, your key responsibilities will include:
- Following your employment agreement or award.
- Attending and performing work as directed.
- Maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor.
- Adhering to all lawful instructions.
- Working towards achieving the competencies outlined in the training plan.
- Undertaking necessary training and assessments per the training plan.
- Keeping a record of your training progress and producing it when required.
Profile Requirements
To be eligible for this program, you must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a Grade 12 (Matric) qualification with Mathematics and Science or an equivalent.
- Have a minimum N2 Engineering Studies qualification.
- Hold a Qualified Millwright certification.
- Electricians and Diesel mechanics will also be considered.
- Possess a Section 13 Trade Certificate or Section 26D Trade Certificate with Modules.
- Be physically and medically fit to work in a mining environment and meet all customer vaccination requirements. You should attach your vaccination certificate to your application.
