The Road Accident Fund (RAF) is seeking four Administrative Assistants for its Undertakings Unit in East London. These fixed-term contract roles (36 months) will provide day-to-day administrative support to the Medical Management Department, ensuring compliance, recordkeeping, and effective office coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with policies, process standards, and internal controls.
  • Provide administrative support including correspondence, filing, and responding to queries.
  • Validate, capture, and maintain accurate departmental records.
  • Draft stakeholder letters, allocate reference numbers, and monitor outstanding matters.
  • Support meeting arrangements, including scheduling, minute-taking, and tracking resolutions.
  • Manage departmental stationery and supplies.
  • Maintain up-to-date document filing and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Liaise with internal Processing Centres and stakeholders to resolve outstanding issues.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant administrative experience.
  • Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Good writing, recordkeeping, and organisational skills.
  • Basic understanding of supply chain management (SCM) processes and financial acumen.
