Dream Hotels and Resorts is offering a 12-month learnership in Hospitality Reception from 2023 to 2024.

International hotel schools run this course and will provide you with the knowledge and practical skills needed for a successful career in hospitality. Here’s what you need to know:

Course Details:

• The learnership will run for a 12-month period.
• The course will consist of online theoretical classes and practical assessment sessions.
• You will learn about hospitality reception, customer service, and other essential skills.

Requirements

• Only South African citizens are eligible to apply.
• Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 30.
• You must have a passed Grade 12 certificate.
• English literacy and computer literacy are required.
• Dream Hotels and Resorts reserves the right to amend or change the terms as required.
• Selection criteria will be based on grade 12 results or, in the case of current grade 12 students, a grade 11 or preliminary grade 12 result will suffice.
• All applicants will need to sign a workback agreement.
• Internal applications from employees will consider performance and service history.
• While Dream Hotels and Resorts is an equal opportunity employer, preference will be given to applications from individuals who are previously disadvantaged.

Staff and Staff Children:

• Employees with 12 months or longer employment are eligible to apply.
• Applications are only permitted for staff and their legally defined children.

Guest Application:

• Guests who have stayed with us as hotel or rental guests for the past 24 months are eligible.
• All paid-up ownership members are also eligible.
• Paid-up members of the Dream Vacation Club and Zimbali Vacation Club are also eligible.

Community Members:

• Community members need to include a recommendation from a resort in their area with their application.
