Application for the Palabora Mining Internship will be closed from 18 March 2022.

This internship program will be held in Phalaborwa, Limpopo.

The Palabora Mining Company has been in operation since 1956. It is responsible for being the largest supplier to the country in refined copper.

Apart from their primary mineral, the company also supplies various other materials such as gold, silver, and platinum.

The company has continued to thrive and prosper throughout the decades by using multiple professions to maintain and improve its operations constantly.

These professions are what the internship program is all about. To bring on young and certified individuals that can not only learn on the job but also benefit the company in the process.

What is The Internship Program About?

The Palabora Mining Internships will provide opportunities to qualified candidates in various professions.

Applicants will need to have their respective degrees with little to no work experience to be ideal candidates.

The program will last a total of 24 months and throughout that time they will be working for the Palabora Mining Company.

This ensures that they will receive adequate work experience in their respective fields with the backing of an esteemed company.


To be considered for this internship program, applicants will need to meet the following requirements to be considered:

  • Applicants must be South African citizens.
  • Applicants must have completed their matric year.
  • Applicants need to have a Degree or Bachelor of Technology Degree.
  • Applicants must be unemployed.
  • Applicants must be no older than 35 years.
  • Applicants must have a clear criminal record.
  • Applicants must not have been enrolled in previous internship programs.
